Saw something bad in one of our games? Use the report button in the game, or email [email protected] with "Report" in the subject. We read every report. Anything that could put a child in danger is handled first, usually within 24 hours. If someone is in immediate danger, call the police first (in Israel: 100).
What you can report
- A drawing in Doodle Hunt (in the game or on our drawings page).
- A username or guest name.
- A player who cheats, bullies, asks for personal information, or tries to meet someone outside the game.
- Content that copies your work (copyright) or that you think is illegal.
- An inappropriate ad.
How to report
In the game
If the game has a report button, tap it next to the drawing, name, message or player. We are adding report buttons to our online games; until a game has one, report by email.
By email
Write to [email protected] with the subject "Report", and tell us:
- the game, and where the content is (for example the drawing's title and artist, the page link, or the player's name and the time);
- what is wrong with it and, if you think it is illegal, why;
- a screenshot, if you can;
- your name and email, so we can tell you what we decided (you do not need to give your name for reports about child safety);
- for a copyright report: which work of yours is copied, and a statement that you own it or act for the owner, that the information is correct, and that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed.
What happens next
- We confirm we got your email report, usually within 2 working days.
- We check the content against our content rules and the law. We may hide it while we check.
- If it breaks the rules, we remove it and may warn, mute or block the player, depending on how serious it is.
- We tell you what we decided. We also tell the player whose content was removed what we removed and why, unless that would put someone at risk.
- Content that suggests a child is in danger, or other serious crimes, is reported to the police or the relevant authority.
Disagree with a decision?
Whether you reported something or your content was removed, you can ask us to look again. Reply to our email within 6 months and explain why. The owner of the studio reviews it personally and answers within 14 days. If you live in the EU, you may also use an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or go to court.
Contact point
Our single point of contact for players and for authorities (including EU Member State authorities and the European Commission under the Digital Services Act, and Ofcom under the UK Online Safety Act) is [email protected]. We read Hebrew and English.
