Wagon Run Privacy Policy

Wagon Run by Banana Bolt

Effective 11 October 2026 (leaderboard names made by the game since 5 October 2026)App: Wagon Run for Android and iPhone (com.goorillaballz.wagonrun)
The short version Wagon Run has no accounts. Your progress stays on your phone. The only thing that ever reaches our own server is the optional star leaderboard, and only if you join it: then a name made by the game (players cannot type a name), your stars, your level and a random player number are stored. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect device data such as the advertising ID to show and measure those ads. Optional purchases (gold coins and No Ads) are handled by Google Play on Android and by Apple on iPhone.

Who we are

Wagon Run is made by Banana Bolt, a small independent game studio in Israel ("we", "us"). The studio is owned by Daniel Nahman Levi (operating as Banana Bolt), 89 Derech Ramatayim, Hod HaSharon, Israel, who is responsible for the data described here (the "controller", or "database owner" under Israeli law). Contact: . Our general Privacy Policy applies too and explains your rights, international transfers and security in more detail. עברית (Hebrew version)

Information stored on your device

The game saves your levels and stars, tickets, gold coins, skins, daily gift streak, settings (sound, vibration, gentle motion, reminders, swapped controls, language), whether you own No Ads, and when the last ad break was shown. This data is not sent to us. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game deletes it from the device. If device backups are turned on (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android), your phone may include the game's data in your own backup. We cannot access those backups.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Wagon Run shows ads provided by Google AdMob: short ad breaks between levels, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch (to revive, to triple your tickets, or for an extra heart). There are no banner ads. To show, measure and protect ads against fraud, Google's advertising SDK may automatically collect:

  • Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID, or on iPhone the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking
  • IP address, which can indicate your approximate location
  • Ad interactions, such as ad views and taps, and app launch information
  • Diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the game shows Google's consent message before personalised ads are used. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation at any time in your device's settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

On iPhone, the game asks Apple's "Allow tracking?" question the first time you open it. If you choose not to allow it, the advertising identifier is not shared and you still get ads, just not personalised ones. You can play everything either way, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-app purchases

Wagon Run offers optional purchases: gold coin packs and No Ads. Payments are handled entirely by the store you downloaded the game from: Google Play Billing on Android, and Apple's In-App Purchase on iPhone. We never receive your name, email or payment details. The game only checks with that store on your device which purchases you own, so they can be delivered and restored.

Other companies involved

Only two other companies are involved, and each handles data under its own privacy policy: Google, which provides the ads (see the links above), and the store you downloaded the game from, which handles purchases. That is Google Play on Android (policies.google.com/privacy) or Apple on iPhone (apple.com/legal/privacy). We chose them because their published privacy commitments protect your data to at least the standard this policy describes. We do not share data with anyone else.

Reminder notifications

If you allow notifications, the game schedules occasional reminders directly on your device. These are local notifications; no push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.

Leaderboard

The game has an optional star leaderboard, also shown on our website at bananabolt.xyz/wagonrun/leaderboard. It is only used if you join it: the game offers you a name once, right after the how-to-play screen (you can tap "Maybe later"), and you can also join later on the Ranks screen. Players cannot type their own name: the game makes a fun name from a fixed list of words (for example "Turbo Panda 42"), so no real names or other personal details can appear on the board. When you join, that name, your number of stars, your highest level and a random player number made by the game are stored on our own server at bananabolt.xyz, so that all players can see the ranking. The game also keeps a random secret key on your device so nobody else can change your entry; the server stores only a scrambled (hashed) form of it. Your IP address is used for a few minutes in the server's memory to stop abuse and is not stored. To have your entry deleted, email us your leaderboard name and we will delete it. Leaderboard entries are kept until you ask us to delete them or the leaderboard closes. Backups are replaced nightly and kept for 7 days.

What we do not do

  • We do not require or offer accounts or logins in this game (the optional leaderboard uses only a name made by the game).
  • We do not use our own analytics or tracking.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • The game does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or precise location.

You do not have to give us any information by law, and you can play without giving us anything. We use data only for the purposes above. Saving your game and running the leaderboard is needed to provide what you asked for (our agreement with you). Personalised ads rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the game's privacy choices or your device settings. Stopping abuse relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the game safe.

Children

Children play our games, so we are careful. We are adding an age question to the game; once it is in, players under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in their country) only get non-personalised, family-friendly ads, and we tell Google to treat them as children. Leaderboard names are made by the game, so no real names appear. Parents can ask us to see or delete their child's data at any time: email us from the parent's address.

Your rights and deleting your data

The only data we hold on our own server is the optional leaderboard entry described above. Email us your leaderboard name and we will delete it. Apart from that we keep nothing after you remove the game. You can delete all Wagon Run data by uninstalling the game (on Android you can also clear the app's storage).

To withdraw permission for personalised ads, turn off tracking for the game on iPhone (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking), or reset or delete your advertising ID on Android (Settings → Google → Ads). For data collected by Google, use Google's tools at myaccount.google.com. If you would like help with any of this, email us at the address below.

You can ask us to see the data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it (Israeli Privacy Protection Law, sections 13-14; GDPR articles 15-21). We answer within 30 days, free of charge. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il), or to your local data protection authority in the EU or UK.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles data, we will update this page and its effective date.
