Getting the games

When can I download the games?

Twistbloom is out now on the App Store and Google Play. Gorilla Rush and Wagon Run are out now on the App Store and coming to Google Play soon.

Follow us on YouTube or TikTok, or join our Discord (13+), and you'll hear the moment they're out.

Can I play before that?

Yes. Each game has a short demo you can play right here in your browser, with no download and no sign-up: Wagon Run, Gorilla Rush and Twistbloom.

Which phones can play them?

iPhones with iOS 15 or newer, and Android phones with Android 7.0 or newer. Twistbloom and Gorilla Rush are played holding the phone upright; Wagon Run is played sideways (landscape).

Are the games free?

Yes, all three are free to play, with ads. Every game has an optional No Ads purchase. Gorilla Rush also sells gems and Wagon Run sells gold coins. You never need to buy anything to finish a game.

Purchases and ads

How do I remove the ads?

Buy No Ads in the game. It's a one-time purchase: the ad breaks stop, and the rewards you would normally watch a video for become free.

  • Twistbloom: also free hints, unlimited undos and the Royal Aurora skin.
  • Gorilla Rush: also the Royal skin and 300 gems.
  • Wagon Run: also the Royal skin and 300 gold coins.
I bought No Ads, but it's gone (new phone, reinstall)

Open the game's Settings and tap Restore purchases (in Twistbloom it's called Restore No Ads purchase). In Gorilla Rush and Wagon Run you'll also find it in the Shop.

Make sure you're online and signed in to the same Google or Apple account you bought it with.

A gem or coin pack didn't arrive

Gems and gold coins are spent inside the game, so the store can't restore them like No Ads. First tap Restore purchases once. If the pack still isn't there, email with the game's name and your order number (on Android it starts with "GPA."), and we'll sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, for purchases you haven't used, within 14 days. On Android, ask Google Play first (within 48 hours you can usually do it yourself); on iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. You can always email us too. All the details are in our refunds policy.

Can my child buy things by accident?

Every purchase shows the price and asks you to confirm first. Players under 13 also have to answer a grown-up question before they can buy anything. For extra peace of mind you can turn on purchase approval on the phone: Google Family Link on Android, or Screen Time and Ask to Buy on iPhone.

Progress and playing offline

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up or sign-in in our games. Your progress is saved on your phone.

Will I lose my progress if I delete the game or get a new phone?

Progress is saved only on the phone you play on. If you uninstall the game or clear its data, your progress is removed, and it can't be moved to another phone. No Ads is linked to your Google or Apple account, so you can always get it back with Restore purchases.

Do the games work offline?

Yes, all the levels play offline. You need an internet connection only for:

  • Twistbloom's Daily Puzzle and the daily gift in Gorilla Rush and Wagon Run
  • the leaderboards
  • ads, and buying or restoring purchases

Leaderboards

Which games have a leaderboard?

Twistbloom and Wagon Run. Joining is optional, and you can see both online on our Leaderboards page. Gorilla Rush has no leaderboard.

How is my leaderboard name chosen?

The game makes a fun name for you, so you never have to share your real name. Before you join you can ask for another one until you like it. Nothing is sent to the leaderboard until you confirm.

How do I remove myself from a leaderboard?

Wagon Run: on the Ranks page, tap Leave and delete my entry. Your name, stars and player number are deleted.

Twistbloom: email with the name shown on the leaderboard, and we'll remove it.

I saw a rude or unsafe name. How do I report it?

Email with Report in the subject, the game and the name. Anything about a child's safety is handled first. More on our report content page.

Languages, sound and accessibility

Which languages do the games speak?

All three games come in 20 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

The game follows your phone's language. To pick another one, open Settings and choose Language.

How do I turn off the sound or vibration?

Open Settings in the game. There are switches for sound and vibration, and for music in Twistbloom and Wagon Run.

Are the games accessible?

Every game has Larger text, High contrast and a calmer-motion option (it follows your phone's reduce-motion setting), and works with screen readers and keyboards. Twistbloom can also show row numbers on the pieces, and Wagon Run can swap the controls for left-handed play.

Read more in our accessibility statement.

Kids, privacy and safety

Are the games OK for kids?

They're made for everyone: kids, teens and grown-ups. The first time you play, the game asks for your month and year of birth. Only the age group is kept, on the phone.

Players under 13 get ads made for children that are never personalised, no tracking request, and a grown-up question before any purchase.

How do I change my ad choices?

In Europe and the UK, the game asks whether you're happy with personalised ads. You can change your answer later under Privacy choices in the game's Settings (it shows up where it's needed), or in your phone's settings.

What data do you collect?

As little as we can. We have no accounts and no analytics of our own, and we never sell data. Ads are shown by Google AdMob. Each game's privacy policy explains it in plain words: Twistbloom, Gorilla Rush, Wagon Run. There is also our full privacy policy.

Still stuck?

How do I report a bug or ask something else?

Email . Tell us the game, your phone model and what happened; a screenshot helps a lot. We're a tiny studio and we read every message.

Is there a Banana Bolt Discord?

Yes! Join us on Discord. It's where we post news and updates, and where you can chat with other players and share ideas. Discord is for ages 13 and up (that's Discord's own rule); younger players can keep up with our news here on the website.

Found a bug? Post it in #bug-reports with the game, your phone and what happened. For anything private, like a purchase or your leaderboard name, email instead, and never share personal details in the chat.
